I don't think it can be debated that Michael Jackson was, at one time, the biggest celebrity in the world. I also don't think that if you listen to anything from Thriller backward you can argue that the man/child was not incredibly damned talented.
Regardless of the media storm or the man's private life and public scandals, he had an incredible, universal appeal that is rarely seen more than once in a generation.
I always felt a bit sorry for Michael Jackson's children. I'm certain he loved them dearly.
I don't think anyone has the right to claim otherwise.
He was, however, an extremely emotionally immature man and the some of the things those children endured (eg being forced to wear masks anytime they left their home, being completely cutoff from their mothers at their father's request even if it was with the women's consent) would not have qualified as good parenting anywhere but the strangely unbalanced world of wealthy celebrities. He may have damaged them as much as his father damaged him!! we here at AWDL know all about those repercussions dont we??
I am sorry for the loss of their Dad and wish these little ones well but i have a feeling he's left his unfortunate legacy. Perhaps if the right people get custody of the children they can turn things around but with the influence of all M.J's wealth at their disposal i doubt that those people withh have the right intentions... GOD BLESS THE CHILDREN.
