Subject: Update from Luckystar Mon 4 May - 4:31
Hi all. If you have noticed (LOL) i haven't been here lately and i just wanted to let you know why.
I am writing a Cookbook and it's taking up all of my free time. It all started with me wanting to leave a legacy of all the dishes i have accumulated from my mother, friends and my travels abroad. Many are recipes that i have adapted or invented as well as variations on known recipes. For years my daughters have been asking for my recipes but i have never wanted to give them up as i like all the praise and the compliments on my cooking. If i give them up then everyone will get the praise..lol. However, i am getting on in years and have decided that i won't hang on to the recipes any longer, hence the book. Everything in the book, i have cooked and the photos are my own, taken after cooking/baking. I haven't had time to copyright the pics yet but here are a few samples

I made this cake 3 days ago called it Chocolate Indugence......Guess what..... my daughter took a 1/4 of it to her office and shared it out just to get some feedback and can you believe it.2 people made an order...lol

Well i have cooked so much i am now getting fed up Hubby and daughters beg me to stop giving them food so i am taking a break from the cooking and am starting to format the book which so far will have 25 pages. Writing all the recipies and instructions is a pain!! I am seriously wondering if it will really be ready by Xmas. Thanks for the suggestions sally and selina I have decided the book will be called "International Flavours" see the book cover and tell me what you think

I have about 80 Family recipies and still going....lol Now i have had to dig out the ones i have only made a few times over 40 years. :I know:Problem is getting someone to eat them so that i can take photos and its costing me a fortune The family are begging me to stop feeding them so much, now they dont come as often and i think its because they dont want MORE food!!!
