ANGELS OF LIGHT

A HUMAN ANGEL IS WHAT CHRIS IS
ALWAYS RELIED ON WHEN THINGS GO AMISS
ALWAYS THERE THROUGH SICKNESS AND HEALTH
PUTTING EVERYONE FIRST EXCEPT FOR HERSELF

SHE WAS THERE FOR MY DAD
AND FOR MUM ASWELL
SHE HELD US TOGETHER
WHEN SHE WAS GOING THROUGH HELL

THEN ANNETTE TOOK ILL
CHRIS AND GEOFF WERE STRAIGHT THERE
NOT STOPPING TO THINK OF THEMSELVES
LIFE JUST WASNT FARE

GEOFF WAS ILL TOO BUT STILL CARRIED ON
TOOK ANNETTE TO THE HOSPITAL AND HELPED GET THINGS DONE
CHRIS AND GEOFF WERE BOTH ANGELS THEY DID ALL THEY COULD
SEEN ANNETTE EVERYDAY IT MADE HER FEEL GOOD

UNFORTUNATELY THE ILLNESS GOT TOO MUCH TOO BARE
ANNETTE COULDNT GO ON IT JUST WASNT FARE
GEOFF AND CHRIS STAYED WITH US RIGHT TO THE END
THE ANGELS OF LIFE ON WHOM ANNETTE DID DEPEND

AGAIN WE WERE HIT BY TERRIBLE FATE
JEANNIE TOOK ILL ALL WE COULD DO WAS WAIT
AGAIN CHRIS AND GEOFF DID THE RUNNING AROUND
STRUCK AGAIN BY THE ILLNESS GEOFF DIDNT SAY A SOUND

THROUGH ILLNESS AND HARD TIMES
THE ANGELS WERE THERE
CHRIS AND GEOFF WITHOUT THEM
LIFE WOULDNT BE FARE

WE,VE ALL BEEN THROUGH SOME TERRIBLE YEARS
BUT TOGETHER WE GATHERED AND SHARED ALL OUR TEARS
THEY BOTH DESERVE MEDALS FOR WHATS STILL GOING ON
IT JUST ISNT FARE BRINGING UP SOMEONES SON

SO BOTH CHRIS AND GEOFF
YOUR BOTH ANGELS OF LIGHT
KEEP YOUR WINGS CLOSE BESIDE YOU
AND SPREAD THEM AT NIGHT

Ever so moving and so lovelly you have wrote this for Chris she is a diamond we know and diamonds are rare.
